H & S Maintenance Pty Ltd recognises the importance of having satisfied customers, and maintaining and enhancing our position as both a recognised and respected name in the civil construction industry. Our Integrated Management System, comprising of quality, environmental and health & safety policies, objectives and procedures, is designed to continually improve our quality service, and demonstrate business excellence.
To consistently deliver a quality service that guarantees customer satisfaction, we will:
Complete projects on time, on budget, and in accordance with clients requirements;
Establish and pursue quality objectives and targets designed to improve customer service and satisfaction;
Comply with all relevant legislation and regulations, and other requirements that are placed on us, or to which we subscribe
Maintain and support a competent and committed workforce that are fully understanding of our Integrated Management System policies, objectives and procedures, and their own associated roles, responsibilities and authorities;
Communicate with employees regarding customer requirements and processes and resources required for successful project outcomes;
Monitor, measure and analyse to determine conformity with set processes, and undertake regular management review to establish improvement initiatives;
Engage with stakeholders to establish mutually beneficial relationships;
Maintain certification of our Integrated Management System to the requirements of the Civil Construction Federation (CCF) Management Code (Issue 9).
ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY
H & S Maintenance Pty Ltd is committed to the care of the environment and to the continual improvement of our environmental performance. We recognise the importance of the principles of environmental sustainability and their relevance to the civil construction industry. Our aim is to conduct business in a way that protects the environment through efficiently utilising resources and continually improving our control over activities that may lead to pollution or environmental harm.
To protect and improve the state of the environment in which we operate, we will:
Comply with all relevant environmental legislation and regulations, and other requirements that are placed on us, or to which we voluntary subscribe;
Develop, implement and maintain procedures for environmental impact identification, assessment and control, covering all of our activities, and of those who we may influence;
Establish and pursue environmental objectives and targets that focus on pollution prevention, mitigation of adverse environmental impacts and improved environmental conditions;
Identify competencies required to achieve our environmental policy and objectives and ensure that such competencies are always retained within our workforce;
Identify potential emergencies and accidents that may impact on the environment and establish procedures for their prevention and response;
Communicate with our employees and engage with other stakeholders to improve our environmental management performance, and others operating in the civil construction industry;
Maintain certification of our Integrated Management System to the requirements of the Civil Construction Federation (CCF) Management Code (Issue 9).
HEALTH & SAFETY POLICY
H & S Maintenance believes that occupational health and safety is vital for the overall efficiency and success of our business, and is committed to ensuring that employees and others with whom we work with are safe in the workplace, and healthy in body and mind.
To maintain a safe and healthy workplace for all those associated with the company, we will:
Comply with all relevant OH&S legislation and regulations, and other requirements that are placed on us, or to which we subscribe;
Establish and achieve health and safety objectives and targets that focus on improving management performance by eliminating or minimising risks of workplace injury and illness;
Develop, implement and maintain procedures for hazard identification, assessment and control covering all of our activities, and of those who we may influence;
Identify competencies required for the establishment and management of a safe and healthy workplace, and ensure such competencies are always retained within our workforce;
Ensure occupational rehabilitation for injured/ill employees without them being prejudiced or disadvantaged, and to ensuring that effective return to work plans are developed and implemented.
Continually inspect, maintain and monitor plant and equipment to ensure safe working order;
Identify potential emergencies and accidents, and establish procedures for their prevention and response;
Consult with our staff and engage with other stakeholders to reduce workplace risks and improve health conditions;
Maintain certification of our Integrated Management System to the requirements of the Civil Construction Federation (CCF) Management Code (Issue 9).
